Still we must wait at Market Drayton

Moored Market Drayton, Shropshire Union Canal

Ya didn’t shout loud enough!!!

“all you readers before 2.30pm when you read this shout out loud “Good Luck Sue and Meg”… come on LOUDER!”

The last line from my blog last night… So we have to wait longer and visit the vet some more yet.  The very centre of the injury is just not wanting to heal.. if it doesn’t then another lot of her pad on that paw will have to be cut out.  I am wondering now if it will be into next year before the little gal is up and running again.. Here a pic of the little one we are talking about from April last year that I rather like..

While we are a bit inactive I thought I would share with you a couple of websites that I have found of late.  Both are very interesting to boaters especially.  One is called Hotspot Shield which protects you fully when using your computer at a wifi access point such as stations and coffee shops.  All ‘data traffic’ is diverted through their secure website server and you will be totally invisible to any other users of the hotspot connection.  There is no way any sniffer sitting in the same room will be able to collect information from your computer..

The other is a new sim from giffgaff.  It runs on the O2 network.  I am going to give this one a go to see what it is like.  There is free internet connection until the end of May next year (100Mb daily allowance)from unlocked or O2 locked mobile phones.  There are lots of good reasons to get this, the tarrifs are excellent, calls at just 8p a minute to landlines and other mobiles instead of the normal 20 or 25p and texts at 4p.  The best is that 0800, 0808 and 0500 numbers are free to call.  A top up of £10 is required to start you off, which gives you free calls to anyone else on giffgaff for up to one hour for three months.. top up again and the cycle starts over.

There have been other types like this that piggy back on the main providers that have failed such as the M&S one, but reading their forums and reviews elsewhere this may well work.

I’ll let you know how I get on with it.
