Ho Hum.. I hate moving home..
Moored Thrupp, Oxford Canal
Well Ron (F_O_R), the boxes of chairs have been opened and the major construction of our arm chairs has taken place at last!
But one fell to bits (it would be the one I put together!) and left Vic on the floor.. hehe good job I wasn’t here I think I would have died laughing.. I was walking Lucy.. well not exactly across country, just down to the services to put in a few carrier bags of rubbish bin items. Why or why do we keep so much rubbish!.. You only find rubbish when you move home, tis the same whether you live in a house or a narrowboat you know!
Nearly done moving, but hey look at this…..

Found Vic’s ‘glad rags’ in a black plastic bag in the storage area on Tara.. tis his suit!
Worn just the once..
Needs a bit of a press I think!
In the inside pocket of the suit jacket was the evidence of where the suit was worn on that one outing that it did before getting squashed into that plastic bag …

The wedding of my daughter Jennifer Lois to Philip Heath Sharland at 2.30pm on 13 December 1997 at the lovely church at Salisbury Green Nr Fareham in Hampshire..
Well that stopped us for a while today and we reflected and chatted.. I remember what a wonderful day that was and the weather was beautiful for the time of year. I remember watching the sunrise out of the window across the fields from our house that morning.. Hard work time at the moment, but doesn’t moving home always rekindle fond memories?..
