The butcher is needed in Nether Heyford

Nr Gayton to Nether Heyford, Grand Union Canal, 3.5 miles 0 locks

Well it was a bit further than that.. we went on to turn another mile further on before mooring this evening. Annie and I took the dogs over the fields for a couple of hours this morning before we pulled the pins and headed for Nether Heyford.  A nice trip.. There has been some lovely hedge laying along the embankment to the south of Bugbrooke, much better than I had seen further north..

Wendie, Danny and the grandchildren are coming up for a visit over Easter, hence the reason to visit the butcher, they do like their roast meal on a Sunday.. but they may not eat it… I have planned an Easter Egg hunt onboard No Problem.. maybe I should hide the eggs well..

I am a bit late writing this blog tonight, I’ll add a bit more tomorrow.. Been listening to the footie, nice to see Portsmouth get a point against Arsenal tonight.
